The book that started the “marrow controversy” which was brought back into the modern consciousness by Sinclair Ferguson’s book, “The Whole Christ.” “The Marrow of Modern Divinity” was Thomas Boston’s favorite book and deserves a read today as navigates the path between legalism and antinomianism.
